Constraint Autoport System Information & instructions

    Constraint Autoport System

Firstly, thank you for your interest in Constraint!  We endeavour to create fun, user friendly, and high quality BDSM roleplay items.  If you find any errors, have a problem with an item, or have something to share about any of our products please don't hesitate to get in contact with us by IM, Notecard, or via the Constraint group.  We'd love to hear from you!

Our Autoport system is an effort to address one of Second Life's many annoyances.  When you're out shopping with friends, jumping from store to store in different sims, you have to send a teleport over to them for each and every place you visit.  But what if they were just pulled behind you every time you change region?

The Constraint Autoport system comprises a Leader and Follower HUD.  The person teleporting wears the Leader HUD (or multiple leader HUDs if they want to have more than one person following them through region changes).  The one following wears the follower HUD.  The leader can then link their HUD to the follower through a simple selection menu and off you go!

Due to Second Life limitations, re-logging or re-attaching a HUD will cause it to lose connection with its counterpart.  This means the Leader will need to re-link before being able to automatically teleport the Follower again.  Further, teleporting in to a Sim with a landing point will force the Follower to be placed at the landing point if they do not have permission to direct-teleport on that sim.

    -Leader HUD-

The Autoport Leader HUD allows its wearer to link to a single Follower HUD at a time.  If you want to automatically teleport more than one person with you, you can wear multiple Leader HUDs, each linked to a different avatar. The HUD will show the currently linked avatar's name and profile picture while linked.

The Leader HUD's buttons are:

Link/Unlink (Chain Button): Click this to bring up a list of nearby avatars wearing a Follower HUD.  You can then pick one from this list to request their permission to automatically teleport them.  If you are already linked to an avatar, clicking here will release the link, allowing you to link the HUD to a different avatar.

On/Off (Power Button): This enables and disables automatic teleporting. When it is turned off, the current follower it is linked to will not be teleported with you.

Minimise/Maximise (Arrow Button): Hides and shows the HUD for convenience!

    -Follower HUD-

The follower HUD will make use of RLV if you have it enabled to automatically enable teleports, or request teleport permissions if it is not.  When a leader HUD attempts to link with a Follower HUD, the wearer will be presented with the option to allow, refuse, or block the attempt.  Allowing will add the Leader to your trusted list of Leaders, permitting them to link now and automatically link in future.  Refusing will refuse the request.  Blocking will stop any further Autoport requests from that avatar being shown.  You can display and manage these lists easily from within the HUD itself.
The Follower HUD's buttons are:

Settings (Gear Button): This pops up a menu, allowing you to remove people from your allowed and blocked lists, and view the current list of blocked avatars.

List (List Button): This will display a list of current allowed avatars in your local chat.

On/Off (Power Button): This enables and disables automatic teleporting. When it is turned off, you will not be teleported by any of the leaders you are linked to.

Minimise/Maximise (Arrow Button): Hides and shows the HUD for convenience!

That's the Autoport system in a nutshell!  We hope you enjoy our releases and again if you've any comments or inquiries, please don't hesitate to get in contact with us.
